Let's Movie: the new platform of the Campania Region and Film Commission

The Campania Region and Film Commission present "Let's Movie", the innovative platform for Tourism promotion discovering sets, locations and stories of the most successful films and dramas shot in Campania. This is the chance to live an original virtual and augmented reality experience.

With letsmovie.fcrc.it application, embedded in the Cultura Campania website, visitors can explore film locations through movie tours, interactive trailers supported by sheets and unpublished content. The journey through the cultural locations of the regional digital ecosystem allows visitors to relive the atmospheres and emotions of 1930s Campania in "Il Commissario Ricciardi"; Rione Luzzatti as well as the squares and streets of Naples in "My Brilliant Friend"; the port and the districts of Naples old town in "The sea beyond". All these productions join "Napoli Movie Experience", a single tour which also includes "Mina Settembre", displaying alleys and ancient palaces; "Vivi e lascia vivere" with the seafront and Parco Virgiliano; the films "Seven hours to win your heart" by Giampaolo Morelli and "Sono solo fantasmi" by Christian De Sica.

"Let's movie" can be used on computers and smartphones or by downloading the app. It provides to users immersive and cross-media paths thanks to virtual movie tours reconstructed in rotoscope (an animation technique). The interactive content are provided by tags related to information and curious facts about film sets, as well as interactive trailers, to 'play' with characters and film music, backstage content, clips and photos. "Let's movie" is a real 'tourist guide' for people who want to reach the sites and be led by their favourite movie or TV series in the streets, squares, locations and historic buildings of Naples and Campania.
